Agile working landscape for editorial teams

With the conversion of the library in the ZDF editorial building, Bonn Architekten have created a ﬂexible working landscape for the public service broadcaster‘s „Kultur“ and „Kulturzeit“ editorial teams.

The former spatial structures have been broken up in order to create visual relations to the exterior spaces. The open space area in the centre is surrounded by retreat areas, individual workstations and ancillaryrooms. The ramp creates spatial zoning. With ﬂush fecotür S105 structural glazing door elements and fecotür H105 wooden door elements on both sides as well as fecostruct glazing and the fecowand solid wall, feco meets the high sound insulation requirements. In addition, acoustically-effective wall surfaces with the fecophon 14/2 horizontal slits contribute to reducing reverberation times and improving room acoustics.
