Agile meeting place in a straightforward and multifunctional way

Mobility is developing faster than ever, with more software and increasing complexity, not least thanks to Vector's more than 3,000 employees at 30 different locations. The company considers enjoyment at work to be a key prerequisite for its innovativeness. After all, good ideas are created in dialogue and within teams. The company therefore wanted an agile meeting place to be created in Karlsruhe that could be used in a straightforward and multifunctional way. It was to be a relaxed meeting place deliberately different from the workplaces and one that would stimulate activity and exchange.

In the lounge, people meet by chance or intentionally – for stand-up meetings as well as table-football tournaments, presentations and information events. The space can accommodate up to 60 seated individuals indoors and 18 on the terrace. Height-adjustable conference tables and a modular arena ensure maximum flexibility of use. On the skid-base chairs and upholstered stools with castors, movement is possible even during conversations. A lamella construction made of wood surrounds the arena and zones the space, while the colourfulness of the furniture stimulates users into activity. A centrally-positioned green plant wall creates an atmosphere of well-being, with delicious drinks and small-sized snacks available at the coffee bar for in-between meals.
