Sedus Hub
Location for workshops and creative exchange
In the Frankfurt suburb of Eschborn, Sedus Stoll AG presents its "Made in Germany" product range in a newly designed showroom. Many large companies, such as Deutsche Börse, have settled in Eschborn in high-rise buildings with views of the Taunus mountains. The suburban railway provides easy access to the city of Frankfurt. An ideal location for one of Europe's leading manufacturers of office solutions to develop future-oriented office concepts with interesting customers. The rooms in the so-called Loftwerk, with a soaring height of almost four metres, provide a generous spatial atmosphere as a backdrop for the Sedus furniture. The exposed concrete ceiling and the visible wiring emphasise the loft character. A representative meeting room was created with the fecoplan system glass wall so that the conference and office furnishings can be experienced authentically. The stand-free fecoplan all-glass construction with 12 mm ESG-H offers a sound insulation test value of Rw,P = 37 dB with maximum transparency. The minimalist design of the fecoplan glass wall sets the stage for the high-quality Sedus products in the boardroom. In terms of the enormous room height of 3,855 mm and the expected tolerances in the connection to the concrete ceiling, the option of a 70 mm high ceiling profile offers the possibility of being able to accommodate higher tolerances in the telescopic component connection than would be possible with the standard 50 mm high fecoplan profile.
The all-glass door is designed as fecodoor glass G10 door-high with a sound insulation test value of Rw,P = 32 dB with fecoplan glass skylight. The fecoplan connection profiles and the door frame, which is only 70 mm deep, are powder-coated in RAL 7021 black-grey. Frame-integrated glass retaining strips hold the side glass panes. The door fittings are coated in black. An acoustic curtain helps to reduce the reverberation time in the boardroom and allows a certain amount of discretion if required. Portraits of the founder couple Emma and Christof Stoll are applied to the glass in the form of adhesive film.
With the new hub, our brand partner Sedus offers its customers from the greater Frankfurt area a meeting place for workshops and creative dialogue as well as the opportunity to experience Sedus products. In this inspiring environment, feco completes the spatial concept.
