Regular meetings and workshops have been held to work out what the company needs to optimise its workflow. This was refined step by step in successive project phases. The focus was on implementing a new working environment based on the New Work concept, with ergonomic workstations and many meeting zones to encourage communication and create a pleasant working atmosphere. Functional, practical and state-of-the-art were the key requirements. Team areas of different sizes allow for quick exchange within departments, as well as quick adaptation to changing tasks. Room-in-room boxes provide retreats for concentrated work.

Attractive work cafés are available on each floor for employees and customers to use for breaks and informal meetings, and are very popular. The areas are organised by feco system walls, which can be moved and rearranged as required, thus making an important contribution to future orientation and sustainability. Thanks to the close cooperation between Rosenbauer and feco, it has been possible to create a modern, flexible and sustainable working environment that meets the requirements and wishes of all those involved.
