To this end, they work closely with their clients – at the company’s main site in Karlsruhe in the new FUX – Festigungs- und Expansionszentrum (FUX) building, a new centre for creative minds built on the Creative Park Alter Schlachthof. feco has designed the fifth floor to be inspiring and so multi-faceted that, depending on the occasion, it also impresses as a party location.

The growing company is delighted to have a flexible work and meeting domain with a well-thought-out colour, lighting and acoustic concept despite sound-reflecting surfaces. The lounge welcomes guests with a comfortable circle of cushioned seating and a casual, seated bar table – ideal for socialising and engaging in informal conversation. Two corridors lead from here to the open-plan office in the back, with fixed and flexible workstations for eight to ten people. The Open Space is zoned using a modular storage system that integrates lockers, coat racks, a printer station and touchdown standing workstations, all in a uniform look.

The finely-balanced podcast broadcasting studio and three workshop rooms branch off from the corridors – sometimes quite classically in conference style, sometimes unusually as a high-work room and with plenty of space in the seminar room including a seating platform for an extended auditorium. All four spaces share a distinct colour theme, cutting-edge technical equipment, sideboards for hospitality and agile furnishings. Characteristic of the workshop rooms are light stacking chairs and mobile, height-adjustable bar stools. Narrow, movable tables and bar tables can be set up in various formations – block, T, U, square or parliamentary – while a wall rail system for interchangeable whiteboards supports creative work. Whichever plans netzstrategen GmbH pursues with its clients, feco has created ideal conditions in which to forge them.
