Walk-in journey into the future

In the Future Lab of the Bechtle IT System House, interested companies can find out what work will be like in the future. There they can experience live what potential might exist for optimal cooperation and communication within their companies and across company boundaries. When visiting Bechtle, the focus is on seeing how this can be implemented in practice in individual working environments. The system partnership between Steelcase and Microsoft has grown into a partnership between feco-feederle and Bechtle in which clients not only get to know the software but can also experience the appropriate spatial implementation.

The world of work is changing, and so is IT within medium-sized companies. Visitors fears of “new work” and “cloud computing” are already allayed in the entrance area of the training centre. The ground floor of the IT system house is presented as a walk-in journey into the future. The futuristic interior design and the organically-flowing design language of the wall coverings mean that the Bechtle brand can be experienced three-dimensionally. Visitors are inspired by the modular workstations with flexible Scope seating furniture from Cor. Depending on the space and function, seating groups, thinker cells and room-in-room solutions can be supplemented or regrouped. The visitor becomes a guest and feels welcome in this landscape of ideas. With the ophelis docks high benches they can quickly get into conversation at the meeting islands, while an integrated plant bowl showcases the greenery effectively in the room.
